!Important Notice

By purchasing or using any Geo Tracks Go product or service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our products or services.

Third Party Systems Disclaimer

Geo Tracks Go products rely on third-party infrastructure and systems that are outside of our control. Geo Tracks Go is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or performance of these third-party systems, including but not limited to:

  • • 4G Mobile Networks - Coverage and availability provided by third-party mobile network operators
  • • GPS Satellites - Global Positioning System satellites operated by government agencies

User Responsibility for Coverage

It is the user's responsibility to ensure that adequate 4G mobile network coverage exists in their chosen area of operations.

Our GPS trackers require a 4G signal to transmit location data to the Geo Tracks Go app. Before relying on our products for tracking purposes, users must:

  • • Verify 4G coverage maps for their intended area of use
  • • Understand that remote, rural, or mountainous areas may have limited or no coverage
  • • Accept that coverage can vary due to weather, terrain, and network congestion
  • • Not rely solely on GPS tracking for safety-critical applications without backup systems

Viewing Tracking Data: To view tracking data on your smartphone, you will also need a good 4G/5G mobile signal or WiFi connection. Without adequate connectivity on your viewing device, you will not be able to receive real-time location updates from your tracker.

Testing Your Tracker Before Use

Users must test their GPS tracker before relying on it for any important tracking purpose.

Before using your tracker for expeditions, travel, or any activity where tracking is essential, you should:

  • • Fully charge your tracker and verify it powers on correctly
  • • Download and set up the Geo Tracks Go app on your smartphone
  • • Link your tracker to your account following the quick start guide
  • • Test the tracker outdoors with a clear view of the sky to establish GPS connection
  • • Verify that location updates are being received in the app
  • • Test the tracker in an area with known 4G coverage to confirm data transmission
  • • Familiarise yourself with all tracker features and app functions
  • • Check the indicator lights to understand the status of GPS and network connections

Tip: We recommend testing your tracker at least 24-48 hours before any planned activity. This allows time to troubleshoot any issues and contact support if needed.

Water Exposure Warning

Any GPS tracker that has been exposed to salt water must NOT be charged or used. Doing so may cause damage to the device and poses a safety risk.

Any use of GPS trackers on or in close proximity to water should only be done with a fully waterproof bag or case designed for GPS devices.

While our trackers are designed to withstand light moisture and rain, they are not fully waterproof. Users must:

  • • Never submerge the tracker in water without a waterproof case
  • • Use a fully waterproof bag for any water-based activities (kayaking, sailing, paddleboarding, etc.)
  • • Immediately discontinue use if the tracker has been exposed to salt water
  • • Never attempt to charge a water-damaged device
  • • Contact support if water damage is suspected before further use

1Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Geo Tracks Go website, mobile application, GPS tracking devices, and related services (collectively, the "Services") provided by Geo Tracks Go ("we", "us", or "our").

By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using the Services on behalf of an organisation, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

2Description of Services

Geo Tracks Go provides GPS tracking devices and associated software services that allow users to track the location of people, pets, vehicles, and assets. Our Services include:

  • • GPS tracking hardware devices
  • • Mobile application for iOS and Android
  • • Web-based tracking platform
  • • Data connectivity services (included for 2 years with device purchase)
  • • Customer support services

3Account Registration

To use our Services, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for:

  • • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • • All activities that occur under your account
  • • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account
  • • Ensuring your contact information is kept up to date

4Acceptable Use

You agree to use our Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

  • • Use the Services to track any person without their knowledge and consent
  • • Use the Services for any illegal surveillance or stalking activities
  • • Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Services or servers
  • • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of our software
  • • Use the Services in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations

5Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Geo Tracks Go shall not be liable for:

  • • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • • Loss of profits, data, use, or other intangible losses
  • • Any damages resulting from interruption of service or loss of data
  • • Any damages resulting from third-party system failures (including 4G networks and GPS satellites)
  • • Any damages resulting from use of the Services in areas without adequate network coverage

Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the Services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product or service in question.

6Service Availability

While we strive to provide reliable Services, we do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times. The Services may be subject to:

  • • Scheduled maintenance and updates
  • • Unscheduled downtime due to technical issues
  • • Limitations in areas with poor 4G coverage or GPS signal
  • • Third-party service outages beyond our control

7Data and Privacy

Your use of our Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal data and location information. By using our Services, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in our Privacy Policy.

You acknowledge that location tracking data will be stored and processed to provide the Services, and you are responsible for obtaining appropriate consent from any individuals whose location you track using our devices.

8Subscription and Payments

Our GPS trackers include 2 years of data connectivity at no additional cost. After this period:

  • • Continued service requires a paid subscription
  • • Subscription fees are billed monthly or annually as selected
  • • Non-payment will result in suspension of tracking services
  • • Prices may be subject to change with reasonable notice

Subscription Terms

Subscriptions are available in the following durations: Monthly, 6 Monthly, Yearly, and 2 Yearly. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to the following terms:

  • • Subscriptions provide continued access to GPS tracking data services for the selected duration
  • • Your subscription begins immediately upon successful payment
  • • You will receive email confirmation of your subscription purchase
  • • Subscriptions do not auto-renew; you must manually renew before expiry to maintain service

Cancellation and Refund Policy

In accordance with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, the Consumer Rights Act 2015, and UK consumer law:

  • 14-Day Cooling-Off Period: You have the right to cancel your subscription within 14 days of purchase for a full refund, provided you have not accessed or used the GPS tracking service during this period. The 14-day period starts from when the contract is entered into or when you receive the first supply of services.
  • Waiver of Cancellation Rights: By accessing and using the GPS tracking service after purchase, you acknowledge that the digital service has begun and you expressly consent to waive your right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations. We will inform you of this at the point of purchase.
  • No Refunds After Cooling-Off Period: Once the 14-day cooling-off period has passed, there is no statutory right to a refund for change of mind. Subscriptions are non-refundable after this period, and no partial or pro-rata refunds will be issued for unused time remaining on your subscription.
  • Expired Subscriptions: No refunds will be issued for subscriptions that have expired or for any period during which the service was available but not used.

Your Statutory Rights

Your statutory rights under UK consumer law are not affected. You may be entitled to a refund, price reduction, or other remedy if:

  • • The service is not provided as described or agreed
  • • There is a quality or delivery failure under the Consumer Rights Act 2015
  • • We breach our contract with you

Future Regulatory Changes

The Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024 introduces new subscription rules coming into force from Spring 2026. These terms will be updated to comply with any new requirements, which may include extended cooling-off rights upon renewal. We will notify you of any material changes to these terms.

Important Notice: By completing your subscription purchase, you agree that the digital content/service will be provided immediately and acknowledge that you will lose your right to cancel once the service has been accessed or used. This is in accordance with Regulation 37 of the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. You will be asked to confirm this acknowledgement at checkout.

Service Continuity

  • • If your subscription expires, your GPS tracker will no longer transmit location data until a new subscription is purchased
  • • Historical tracking data may be retained for a limited period after subscription expiry, subject to our data retention policy
  • • We recommend renewing your subscription before expiry to ensure uninterrupted service

9Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Services immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination:

  • • Your right to use the Services will immediately cease
  • • We may delete your account and associated data
  • • Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect

10Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

11Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the updated Terms on our website and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
